Lamb shank, moussaka, baklava, souvlaki, gyros—St. Catherine's Greek Festival would be an appetizing experience for the food alone. But the festival, now in its 39th year, offers a Greek cultural experience that's sure to delight more than just taste buds. Previous festivals have seen the church's youth ministry, clad in traditional garb, perform traditional dances with a traditionally low amount of stage fright, as well as thrilling performances from the Heart of Greece dance troupe. Not far away, patrons can admire eye-catching jewelry and artwork while feasting on flaky baklava.
