The family-run Purple Sprout Cafe was first conceived after family members began to suffer from health ailments. After conventional medicine failed, the solution to their health problems was as simple as switching to a plant-based diet.

Now, the Purple Sprout Cafe serves wholesome, tasty meals that emphasize nutrition, energy composition, and seasonality. Dishes are either made raw, or cooked healthily with minimal oil and gluten. Such nutritious examples include cashew basil pizza, which offers nuts, veggies, and dates as substitute for flour and cheese, or falafel with sunflower sour cream, which sees spiced balls of dehydrated nuts and seeds served with sunflower cream.
