We welcome riders of all ages and levels of experience! Our unique riding program teaches the foundations of horsemanship, including ground manners, proper handling, and the basics of horse ownership, with advanced horsemanship practices such as training your horse, competing in shows, trail riding and more. Located in the heart of Hunterdon County, Mountain View Equestrian is nestled on a 72-acre farm in Lebanon, New Jersey. We match the right horse to your riding ability and style. Horseback riding lessons are available seven days a week. We have horses available for every level of experience. Lesson programs are custom designed around your goals and abilities. Before your lesson begins, riders will learn to catch, groom, tack, and handle their horses. Beginners will learn to transition comfortably through all the riding gates. Intermediate riders will have the opportunity to incorporate more advanced skills, such as jumping and dressage techniques, into their lesson program. Stephanie runs Mountain View Equestrian’s horse training and lesson programs. She combines her passion for horses with her love of teaching and is a certified teacher in the State of New Jersey with a certification in special needs. Stephanie studied at Centenary University and successfully compete on their IHSA Western team and English team in Equitation and Hunter. During her career, she studied under Lee-Ann Hyde and Charlie DeAtley. Continuing her Western riding career, Stephanie helped run a Western trail riding business. Today, she trains young gaited and non-gaited horses. Through her training and lesson programs, Stephanie seeks to empower people at every age and walk in life to become successful riders and horse owners.
