Clyde Peeling's Reptiland, Allenwood

Any visit to Clyde Peeling's Reptiland has to begin with the 65,000-square-foot indoor gallery. Here, more than 40 species including turtles, snakes, frogs, and alligators live in naturalistic habitats. Wandering through the gallery yields more than just eye-to-eye contact with a Komodo dragon. Along the way, interactive exhibits showcase how sidewinders move, what different crocodile calls mean, and what diseases threaten endangered frogs.

Stop by the Dinosaurs Come to Life exhibit where you can catch a glimpse of life-size animatronic dinosaurs that roar, spit, and bellow. Here you will discover 12 different species of dinosaurs, including one living example! This exhibit also features static dinosaurs, a climbable model for picture-taking, a recreated paleontologist dig site, and a fossil dig.

Beyond the indoor gallery, a variety of outdoor enclosures for parakeets and emus give visitors the opportunity to see these creatures in the fresh air and even feed them in all year round.
