Though Dr. Heather Veronesi’s focus is on general family medicine, her methods don’t require traditional x-rays found in other practices. Instead, the licensed naturopathic physician assesses patients’ overall health by inspecting the tongue and pulse. Depending on what she finds, she may counsel patients on diet and lifestyle or recommend vitamins and minerals to bolster their health. As a licensed acupuncturist, Dr. Veronesi also corrects the flow of meridians—paths of energy traditionally known as “qi” that sometimes answer to “hey you”—by inserting sterile needles into specific points of the body.
