Michael Chekhov Studio Orlando is currently the only acting studio in Central Florida certified to teach & offer intensive actor training in the Michael Chekhov Acting Technique - a holistic system of acting aimed at integrating the actors mind, imagination, voice & body toward inspired action.

Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
Students will receive a welcome packet via email detailing how best to prepare for the lessons. Students will need to have an age appropriate contemporary monologue memorized for the classes. Students will need to bring an open & willing mind as many of the exercises will cultivate the imagination.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
The studio was founded on the intent to train actors to become holistic, unique and creative artistic individuals toward inspired action in their craft and daily lives; by exercising the actors imagination and body toward wholeness.

What do you love most about your job?
Seeing artists make amazing discoveries about themselves and their art & craft as they allow themselves the permission to play.
