What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Mathnasium is a learning center with qualified instructors, individualized instruction, and customized learning plans. While a tutor helps students get through "tonight's homework", our primary role is to uncover and directly address gaps in students' knowledge in addition to their current work.

Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
We provide all materials students need to do their work here. Students may bring additional assignments as needed.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
More than 35 years ago, Larry Martinek, creator of the Mathnasium Method, was inspired to find a better way to teach math. Larry decided to find an approach that would provide students with the strong mathematical foundation they needed to succeed.

What do you love most about your job?
Here at Mathnasium, we love to see the students succeed. When the student comes in looking for help and hating math, the point where they begin to enjoy coming to do math is what we love to see the most.
