reviews online are not good, but we liked it. PRICY, bill was $70 for 4 adults and 2 kids meals, 2 pizzas and wings order with French Fries with 3 sodas and 3 waters. Kids meals were great! Pizza was really good if you like coal fired pizza! Our main waitress was attentive, the others we had didn't seem to care much. She dropped pizzas off and left. Never passed out our plates and silverware that was sitting down the end of table. (Never were told specials- and never asked us if we had been there before)

Pizza expensive and so-so. Bartenders not very attentive to those sitting at bar. Ordered a salad to have before pizza, not only didn't get salad but wrong pizza order put in and still didn't get salad until pizza came and we had to remind them about it.

Don't sit towards the front in the winter , freezing when the door opens. Food is good though

Order the New York style pizza. The Neopolitan pizza is the same price and pretty much the same crust but a lot smaller.

It seems like a great place to watch a sporting event - tons of TV's! It has a nice atmosphere. I would sit at a table and not at the bar for better service.

From Our Editors

The coal-fired oven at Rock N' Coal Pizza fires out Italian favorites that fuse flavors from both the Old World and the New. Chefs specialize in both classic Neapolitan pizzas?such as the shrimp and vodka sauce pie?as well as the more modern New York style pizza topped with toppings such as buffalo chicken. But guests don't have to stick to just modern or traditional. They can combine both styles with the menu's build-your-own-pizza option. Guests can choose to build their own prime beef burger, too, or select one of the chef's gourmet combination such as the bistro burger?a patty topped with bacon, cheddar, and a fried egg.

In the massive main room, flatscreen televisions hang over booths casting a warm glow over meals and broadcasting the day's biggest games. The main room may be a destination for sports fans, but Rock N' Coal's private room gives guests a chance to celebrate special occasions or plan their next move in a rapidly escalating prank war.
