The course, a combination of online and classroom tutelage, covers the basics to allow students to apply for both Iowa and Arizona concealed-carry permits, which, when combined, are valid in 36 states. The online portion of the course provides students with 24/7 access to class curriculum and interactive learning features. Curriculum presented in the course covers instruction beyond current state requirements for permit application processing in both Iowa and Arizona.

Every one of A.D.A.T.'s instructors has NRA certification, and many also list military and law-enforcement experience on their resumes. It's this expertise that informs them as they teach basic firearms safety, gun laws, and shooting skills. Their courses include lecture-based sessions and online classes for students who are out-of-state.

Thank you! Having more than just "typical" NRA level certifications and having experience in working in and training professional LE we do have plenty to share that most others cannot. We are ALWAYS taking additional courses to enhance our knowledge in which to share even more in future!

Wow Norma...we're very happy you enjoyed the class! I (James) do my best to offer instruction in a highly informative, candid and non-intimidating way so that everyone participating feels comfortable and of course learning something new. All of our instructor cadre offer great instruction for consistency as well but of course part of the "charm" is having a varied instructing style so no one falls asleep! Thank you for your business and best wishes in your application process.

Very interesting course although if you have experience handling guns this would not be new to you

The basic info is indeed "basic" however 98% who may have experience handling firearms will not likely have any idea about the "exclusive" course content that goes over C.A.R. Systems and the format of training needed to function in "real life scenarios". It being originally designed for Military/Law Enforcement and with less than 10% of the qualified C.A.R. Instructors (as we have/are) offering the knowledge to civilians there is much covered in the second video that is well worth multiple review since it offers some insight on what most (especially civilians) hope but will not achieve using traditional training methods. We thank you for your purchase and interest and do hope you take the time to review the second video in the Advanced Course (if that is what you purchased rather than just the basic video course) to learn what is necessary to be better prepared!
