The Washingtonian raves about Andre Chreky, the salon spa in its "Spas We Love" feature:
- Fast but thorough: Our combo Swedish and hot-stone massage, slated for 55 minutes at lunchtime, lasted 60—and we were in and out in 66. Plus we felt soothed and lighter the rest of the day.
Client reviews are glowing for the elite spa, too:
- Customer Service at its Best!!!: Andre Cherky [sic] to me is the best salon spa in Washington DC. My recent visit to this heaven on earth was one of the most realxing and revitalizing moments I have ever had – A Yahoo! Local user
- Andre Chreky is sure to impress even the fussiest customer. I've had highlights, lowlights, cuts and blowouts there ALWAYS leaving the salon looking better than the celebrity/actress photo I brought in to mimic. – Beltway Babies, Yahoo! Local
Salon Review By The Fussiest Customer
Andre Chreky Salon Spa impresses even the fussiest customer:
- Everything about a haircut makes me want to end my life. The way they make you sit in a chair, it's like being strapped into some sort of highly sophisticated torture device that causes muscle atrophy and angers my vinyl allergies. And why do they have to touch my head? Can't they give me a haircut without making me feel incredibly uncomfortable? Discomfort turns into hostility, which turns into blinding rage. Sometimes I just want to say "Hey, stop touching my head" but I can't because the atrophy-chair has already taken its effects and my muscles have died, which means I have to communicate only through low murmurs and grunts. But Andre Chreky Salon Spa doesn't do any of that. That's why it impresses me so much.
