What You'll Get
Communites across the U.S. report new HIV/AIDS infections each year, with Atlanta ranking among the nation's top 12 cities with the highest incidence of infections. With no cure in sight, the best method of controlling the virus is through prevention education and measures helping citizens to recognize healthy life practices whether they are living with HIV or not. Aniz, Inc., a non-profit community based organization, strives to provide comprehensive HIV/AIDS and health awareness services, including community outreach and prevention measures.
Aniz, Inc. recognizes the barriers faced by those seeking education and testing. These barriers—including community hostility, family negativity, fear of test results, and lack of income—leave 50% of individuals living with HIV unaware they are infected, allowing the virus to deteriorate their own health while potentially spreading it to others. To combat the trend of high infection rates, Aniz provides free HIV/AIDS testing to individuals who seek out help, offering education and, if necessary, counseling and assistance after receiving the results. If caught early enough, treatments can be far more effective and achieve better long-term results.
Join G-Team to help Aniz, Inc. provide free HIV/AIDS test to those who seek help in the Atlanta area. 100% of each $5 donation goes toward Aniz's goal of $450, which will be used to purchase 30 rapid-HIV/AIDS-testing kits. Each additional $15 donated will purchase an additional kit.
Unlike traditional Groupon deals, G-Team campaigns typically don't offer you a "discount" or "savings." So "buyer" beware—when you click "Buy" to donate your time or money to a worthwhile G-Team cause, the only discount you may receive is 100% off free, priceless karma. Read more about G-Team.
