What You'll Get
Creativity can strike at any moment, whether you're near a canvas and brushes or beside a slumbering strongman and many rolls of toilet paper. Learn to recognize opportune moments with today's Groupon: for $39, you get a Canvas and Cocktails painting class for two (a $40 value / person) at Art-Sea Living in Boynton Beach (an $80 total value). Materials are included, but the class is BYOB.
Art-Sea Living's Canvas and Cocktails class jump-starts couples' creativity with a guided painting session led by an experienced brush brandisher. Upon entering the classroom, participants pick up all necessary materials, including a canvas, paints, brushes, and a vial of leftover talent wrung from Leonardo da Vinci's bath towel. Then one of the gallery's paint professionals will guide participants to craft a masterwork with simple step-by-step instructions appropriate for all skill levels. After the session, couples will be able to festoon a bare wall, mantelpiece, or well-appointed broom closet with their colorful pair of paintings.
Course participants are invited to bring a favorite wine or spirit to bolster the crafty carousal and wash down paint-soiled hands. After the class, linger in the gallery to peruse its slew of Florida-inspired original artwork, including still-life portrayals of local flowers, palm trees, and succulent oranges being munched by members of the Miami Dolphins.
Classes are scheduled based on demand, so check the online schedule and call ahead to RSVP.

About Art-Sea Living
Art-Sea Living owner Babs Lentz caught the entrepreneurial bug at age 12, when she helped her father sell his car for $200 more than what he was asking. But Lentz has always intertwined her business savvy with free-spirit artistry, creating a children’s clothing line, designing jewelry, and opening the Art-Sea Living boutique gallery. Inside this welcoming studio, Lentz displays her own handmade creations as well as items from other local designers. Above all, she believes that art can be a great healer. Visitors can unleash their own inner artists during pottery-painting sessions, clay-sculpting classes, and watercolor studies. And for special events, Art-Sea Living can bring its studio on wheels to your party, offering paint-your-own pottery, wineglass painting, and more.
