The dish portions have decreased substantially, which was a bit of an unpleasant surprise. The quality of the dishes also seems to have decreased somewhat.

Went there for lunch today and my husband and I shared a bowl and avocado toast. We loved all the flavors and fresh ingredients. We also love avocados so we were not surprised we really enjoyed it. We definitely would recommend this food.

About Avocadish

Avocadish was founded by two friends, Alex Varouhas and Lydé Heckroodt who met on a bus in Portugal. The foundation of their friendship was a conversation about avocados, which turned out to be their mutual obsession. This is how they started working together over creating an all-avocado menu and how Avocadish was born.

Avocadish is not only an avocado bar, but also a place promoting the idea of healthy and balanced life style, which according to Lydé and Alex should be affordable and accessible to everyone.

The opening of Avocadish was planned in March 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemy, it was delayed. But the owners decided to shift their focus to community outreach and created a campaign “Create Land of 10K Meals” aiming to donate 10.000 meals to Twin Cities community. Following their plan, Avocadish is preparing and offering meals for frontline workers, local families, homeless shelters, community events, as well as UMN student clubs.
