Clients strap on rental harnesses and shoes before worming up the purple-hued heights of the facility’s climbing surfaces. Solo climbers can hoist themselves up the 31-foot wall without a belayer, using auto-belay equipment to ease themselves back down, and pairs spot each other and forgo intimidating height to tackle the 2,800-square-foot bouldering course. New to the venue are the rotating treadwall and a free fall experience, which pairs jumpers with a safety line so they can experience free fall. Air conditioning keeps climbers cool, and visitors of all levels can consult the knowledgeable staff about climbing techniques and mountain-friendly modern-dance moves. Climbing requires no experience.
