Cupid's Adventure Crawl
Two is normally considered the magic number on Valentine's Day, but the organizers of Cupid's Adventure Crawl decided to upgrade that to five. They put together a pub crawl for singles and couples, stopping at five of Orlando's famed late night venues. Each venue serves crawlers a free drink, in addition to their regular offerings of food, beverages, and napkins to make tiny capes from. The night kicks off at 9 p.m. at Ghost Bar with live music and strong mixed drinks, before heading to Native, a friendly bar artfully decorated to encapsulate Orlando's history and culture. At 11 p.m., the crawl works its way to KASA for a mid-evening surprise, including roses for the ladies of the group. Midnight brings the group to Avenue for some craft beer, where crawlers can enjoy one final idle hour before heading to Vain Night Club to dance away the rest of the night. In addition to free drinks and specials, the organizers grant their guests three Valentine's Day Gifts as the evening progresses, handed out at Ghost Bar, KASA, and Avenue.
The Ultimate Drunken Scavenger Hunt
The Ultimate Drunken Scavenger Hunt begins at Avenue Gastrobar and ends at Ghost Bar Lounge—and what happens in between is anyone's guess. On the first Sunday of June, teams of up to five will gather to compete for cash and prizes during a booze-filled afternoon of searching and solving around town. At Avenue Gastrobar, each team gets their list of items to track down and a round of shots for good measure. From there, they'll put their photography and drinking skills to the test while walking or jogging to establishments around the city as they uncover clues and perhaps the secret of where the city keeps all the baby pigeons. Along the way, they'll discover fun new places and drinks as they compete for the game's top three spots.
