$10 for Two Fish Sandwiches (Up to $20 Value)

The seafood deli menu includes a fried, grilled, or blackened fish-of-the-day sandwich or a crab-cake sandwich. Buyers can upgrade to a premium catch, such as grouper, snapper, or mahi-mahi for an additional $2. Groupon-holders also receive 10% off at the retail counter, which stocks fresh local hauls such as red grouper ($22/lb.) and Atlantic salmon ($12/lb.), as well as frozen delicacies such as Canadian lobster tails ($12.50 each).

Big Water Fish Market

On any given day, you might see Big Water Fish Market's seafood specialists on the docks dotting Little Sarasota Bay and the Gulf Coast, buying catches straight from the boat. They haul these bounties back to their chilled display cases, then scrawl the day's selection across the store's blackboard. Big Water's staffers concentrate on local fresh fish and shellfish, taking a special interest in grouper, snapper, and mahi-mahi. Besides these catches, they keep freezers full of imported shipments, from sushi-grade yellowfin tuna to snow crab that, ironically, has never actually seen snow. For those who don’t want to wait until they get home for a tasty seafood meal, the shop’s deli fries, grills, and blackens various fish.

Customer Reviews

I redeemed my Groupon on January 12....the owner at first was hesitant to accept it because he said the Groupon had expired on January 9... But when I explained that it had been extended to the 23rd, he was amenable to accepting it. He then made us the amazingly delicious grilled fish sandwiches. We will definitely return for both the prepared food & for the fresh fish.
