Bobby Van's Grill

Originally founded in the summer of 1969 in Bridgehampton, New York, Bobby Van's Steakhouse has since expanded to nine locations throughout New York and Washington, DC. Inside each kitchen, executive chefs oversee a menu built on plates of Prime dry-aged USDA beef, fresh seafood, and organic chicken. Servers ferry dishes amid each restaurant's similar but distinctly unique decor of private dining rooms and wine rooms furnished with white tablecloths.

In Washington, DC's New York Avenue location, diners savor their lobster cocktails and veal chops amid marble columns, grand mirrors, and babbling fountains that casually ask them if they're going to finish that. The 15th Street steak house lets visitors wine and dine alfresco on the sidewalk patio, located just one block from the White House.

Service and food was outstanding. The waiters and waitresses work as a team. Tupou and Jason (our service team) did an outstanding job making meal recommendations that accommodated my spouse’s allergies. Tupou recommended the Cajun rib eye, Pan-seared Sea Bass with Jumbo Shrimp and Brussels sprouts with bacon and balsamic reduction. We ordered as recommended and all was fantastic. The rib eye was perfectly seasoned and sea bass melted in our mouths. Additionally, Jason took the time to verify all met our allergy constraints. For dessert, Jason recommended the Warm Apple Tart with Vanilla Ice Cream and Caramel Sauce. Once again, we took the advice and thoroughly enjoyed it. The tart

The calamari is fried to perfection,crisp and golden outside, moist and tender inside. Try it and you will like them as much as I did. The petite filet mignon with gorganzola (was soft as butter to cut) with mash potatoes and grilled asparagus was excellent. Great service by our waiter. I would highly recommend.
