Spend some time frolicking through the fresh air of truth with today's Groupon: for $14, you get a punch card for four admissions and skate rentals at Brenton Skating Plaza, a lively outdoor rink located on Robert D. Ray Drive in the East Village (up to a $32 value). Adult admission passes are valued at $3.50–$5 each, depending on the time of day, and children's passes are valued at $2.50–$4 each, depending on the time of day. Reflections of nearby downtown lights dance across the surface of Brenton's shiny outdoor ice floor, where locals strap on skates and try their feet at figure eights or carving elaborate proofs to Fermat's last theorem. Feast on crisp, fresh air as you swoosh to energizing tunes and watch glittery snowflakes land triple salchows on the backs of your mittens. The solid-water playground is open every day—including holidays—November through March, with convenient open hours to suit the entire family's winter schedule.
