Lovely host and server. For the price portion were small portion. Wasn't crazy about the food not much seasonings Portuguese steak had no gravy egg or pepper my daughters was Bland my food was reheated the rice was old we went to Tipsy Seagull to get an appetizer afterwards

Shrimp Mozambique dinner had only 5 shrimp and very little rice and fries..not very tasty and hardly any Mozambique sauce...not worth $$$

I thought it was great. Simple but creative menu, friendly service that made us feel special, and the food was really delicious. It was just a salad but I looked forward to every bite.

Clean restaurant, excellent service. The server was always smiling, very helpful and attentive. the food was very delicious and the portions were generous. I plan to return when I am in Fall River again.

About CAVs Restaurant
CAVs Restaurant has Carlos Vieira’s name all over it—quite literally. Named with Carlos’s initials, the bistro is the culmination of his lifelong dream of owning his own restaurant. The eatery serves American and European fusion fare alongside Portuguese cuisine, the latter of which Carlos is particularly familiar with thanks to growing up in his family’s restaurant outside of Lisbon, Portugal. Similarly, CAVs Restaurant is a family affair, with his wife Toni Vieira, son Carlos Adam Vieira, and daughter Vanessa Gifford all involved in the bistro’s operations.
“What we wanted to do here is very much like a European bistro with outdoor seating and good, fresh food. We’re not trying to be stuffy,” Vanessa told the Herald News. That’s why the eatery not only offers alfresco dining and upscale dishes such The CAV, which tops braised scallops topped with caviar and a creamy bacon sauce, but burger and wing specials and a flat-screen TV for Patriots games.
