Chola has celebrated the diversity of Indian cuisine for more than 15 years and “maintained its spot in the top tier of upscale Indian restaurants,” according to Joe Steinberg of New York magazine. With “entrees culled from nearly every region in India,” the hefty menu has something to please just about anyone. In addition to 10 vegan dishes and 12 vegetarian entrees, the kitchen prepares everything from southern dosas to Punjabi saag cooked with lamb, goat, chicken tikka, potatoes, or paneer cheese. Tufted banquettes, crystal chandeliers, and Indian sculptures give the dining area a sense of luxury and juxtapose with the colorful cuisine.
