What You'll Get
Though often regarded as instinct, fighting is actually a skill acquired in the womb, where all babies must defeat their evil selves in order to be born. Further prenatal training with today's Groupon: for $39, you get one month of unlimited boxing and kickboxing classes (a $90 value) at Clearwater Boxing Center.
Clearwater Boxing Center's talented boxing coaches impart students of all experience levels with boxing and kickboxing know-how via training sessions tailored to beginner, intermediate, and advanced skill sets. Much like training for a street fight against a champion waltzer, the beginners' lessons teach the fundamentals of footwork, kicking, and punching, and intermediate classes focus on counterstriking and advanced boxing maneuvers. The advanced level trains students with at least one year of experience in advanced kickboxing techniques by incorporating mitt work, plyometrics, and strength and conditioning. As a punch-precision-boosting bonus, after each ring session, clients can maximize musculature by going toe-to-toe with punching bags that have been trained to take punches without hitting back.
Over the course of one month, members can attend as many classes as they like. In addition to increasing bobbing and weaving dexterity, the high-intensity workouts also melt away calories and boost cardiovascular strength, keeping bodies slim, fit, and in perfect condition to compete in interoffice thumb-wrestling tournaments.

About Clearwater Boxing Center
At Clearwater Boxing Center, students learn the sweet science from decorated trainers. There's Ron Valicoff—who owns more than 35 years of martial arts experience—and Tony "TNT" Tucker, who defeated Buster Douglas for the IBF World Heavyweight championship in 1987. Together, the staff oversees an array of classes geared toward folks ages 6 and older, including boxing, kickboxing, and women's only boot camp. Like any true boxing gym, the facility keeps plenty of punching bags around so that students can practice hugging.
