Coupons like this are great for both the business and the customer. As a customer I like the bargain of the coupon and it convinced me to go try something new. For you, the business, it got you more customers because I really enjoyed your product and will tell others.

The day we were there, the gravy for the chicken tenders tasted sweet...like someone had put sugar in the gravy, rather than salt. Other than that, the food tasted very good & the geleto was great! Thanks for working with Groupon.

The food was wonderful. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and it was cooked perfectly. The bar-b-que (coffee rubbed) was also good. Usually, I don't pay $7.00 for a sandwich, so that will keep me from visiting often. The slaw is most unusal with the smoke flavoring added to it. On the whole, I found the menu loaded with higher fat foods (fried and cheesy), so I spent some time looking for a healthy option. Thankfully there must be a pretty good venting system in the place as my clothes were not saturated with fried food and hot oil smells. The staff was friendly and interested in making the customers feel welcome. This is a good place that has Texas character, especially when the owner is there. Gig'em!

What You'll Get

In the late 1800s, thousands of Texans struck it rich when they tapped into veins of thick, dark, tangy barbecue sauce (as chronicled in the Oscar-winning film There Will Be Sauce). Today's Groupon gives you the chance to taste this natural bounty while it's still hot from the earth: for $7, you get $15 worth of comfort fare and gelato at Cowboy Gelato.

Travelers poking along the historic Route 66 can journey to Cowboy Gelato for a respite from atmospheric heat with a hearty sandwich and a cup of smooth, icy gelato. Chrome trays convey globs of creamy italian ice cream and sorbet ($2.99–$4.99), available in cups containing up to four choices from a flavor selection that evolves as rapidly as the Texas triceratops population. Pique the palate for maximal icy pleasure and temper ice-cream headaches with selections from a menu that mixes southwestern and barbecue flavors. Savory sides such as crispy beer-battered onion rings ($2.99+) and crunchy fried pickles ($3.99+) set the scene for starring options that include the Bronson burger, which confronts bovine buffs with a monster slab of beef stuffed with cheddar, monterey jack, or pepper jack cheese ($7.49).
