What You'll Get
Getting in shape, much like speed-reading Russian literature, requires concentration and the strength to forge ahead through painful, protracted inner monologues. Forge ahead toward fitness with today’s Groupon to CrossFit Topeka. Choose between two options:
- For $49, you get one month of unlimited classes anytime (a $100 value).
- For $29, you get one month of unlimited morning fitness classes (a $100 value).
CrossFit owner and head trainer Roger Laubengayer, a former all-state football player and a hapkido black belt, dispenses his expertise and experience in CrossFit’s multifaceted core-strength and conditioning program. Colliding weightlifting, gymnastics, and cardio, the program leads all levels of students through 10 recognized domains of fitness, including strength, agility, speed, and flexing in slow motion.
Choose from 14 classes per week spanning the calorie-busting spectrum, with every workout of the day boasting a different approach to exercise. Workouts take on a feel similar to team-sports practices, minus the vintage Gatorade tastings, as enthusiastic instructors drive exercisers to achieve personal records alongside fellow goal-minded sweat seekers. Throughout the classes, CrossFit Topeka's clean, light-bathed hardwood floors afford exercisers the space to lift, stretch, and sweat without worry of tripping over a pile of discarded calories.

About CrossFit Topeka
If scientists ever decide to build a super-athlete from scratch, they might want to consider CrossFit Topeka’s owner and head trainer, Roger Laubengayer, as a model. A two-time Division III football All-American, hapkido black belt, and dedicated marathon runner, Laubengayer can seem more machine than man. His friendly demeanor, however, puts that comparison to rest, and it’s one of the reasons that athletes of all ages and abilities have flocked to his studio to learn about the benefits of CrossFit.
A fully certified CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, Laubengayer leads his students through challenging daily workouts that fuse cardio and strength training. Though workouts vary daily to avoid mind-numbing repetition, most incorporate signature CrossFit exercises such as burpees, pull-ups, pushups, squats, kettlebell drills, weight lifting, and shot-putting cars illegally parked inside the studio.
