If you have a groupon, definitely head over there for a good meal. I have to say without a groupon though, it's a bit expensive for what you get. For this price at other sandwich places, you'll get a sandwich like this, and maybe a soup or a potato pancake. It makes a big difference on value.

Come hungry. A medium sandwich is pretty big!

About David's Brisket House

"Such personality!" exclaimed The New York Times of the pastrami at David's Brisket House. The counter deli's other creations warrant exclamations as well: "The brisket is an ode to delectable texture, freshly carved slices running with jus at every bite," gushed Serious Eats, and The Village Voice called the corned beef "formidable." With such all-around adoration, it might be tough to decide on a single sandwich, not to mention the sides—coleslaw, potato salad, and egg salad each await their turn to complement the meats' salty tang. Though David's prides itself on its mastery of Jewish deli fare, diners also flock to the sandwich shop for quick, satisfying breakfasts of cheese omelets, corned beef hash, and a pastrami breakfast sandwich topped with eggs and cheese—"you'll hardly notice them," says The New York Times, "the meat so mesmerizing."
