About Dunya Restaurant and Bar
Inside the kitchen of Dunya Restaurant and Bar, Rafael Viera crafts dishes that blend modern American cuisine with flavors of the Mediterranean. However, the chef's plates have a choice of destinations. Standing three stories high, Dunya offers guests a trio of elegant dining experiences. The first level houses a traditional dining room with rich red walls, rough-hewn tables and dark-wood chairs. Pillow-topped benches flank a contemporary, curved fireplace in the second-floor lounge. Finally, the rooftop bar offers guests a view of the Shaw neighborhood, as well as upscale American fare with Mediterranean twists.
A Glance at the Menu
Appetizers: Mediterranean elements transform classic starters, as is the case with bruschetta crowned with kalamata olives and feta cheese.
Entrees: Pastas are accented by seafood, capers, and other Mediterranean ingredients, whereas pork-chop and steak dinners provide guests with more traditional options.
Dessert: Diners perk up with creamy affogatos or or indulge their sweet teeth with spoonfuls of panna cotta.
