Without spas, terry-cloth bathrobes would have to make ends meet by taking part-time jobs as car-wash rags and Muppets. Help keep bathwear gainfully employed with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $69 for a facial and massage spa package that includes a 45- to 60-minute grape-seed facial (a $75 value) and a 45-minute massage with aromatherapy and hot stones (a $65 value; a $140 total value)
  • $89 for the above facial and massage spa package with a 60-minute classic pedicure (a $185 total value)

The antioxidant-rich facial formula sloughs away dead skin cells, then a vitamin-C peel rejuvenates the complexion. During the massage, heated stones and warm towels relax muscles while the fragrances of pure essential oils soothe senses. The classic pedicure adds another hour to the spa session—an hour filled with a handcrafted, organic foot-scrub and soak, an exfoliation, and a moisturizing foot massage.

Escape Day Spa

Escape Day Spa co-owners Carrie Wheelock and Alicia Liddon know how therapeutic a day at the spa can be. Wheelock, an experienced massage therapist, has witnessed the restoration and healing power of touch while both giving and receiving massages. Liddon, on the other hand, is not only an aesthetician, but also a wife and mother of three who understands the daily stressors of family life. Her passion for healthy skin has helped ground her and was her inspiration for opening her own skincare clinic.

At the spa's new location in Edgewood, the duo and their team perform treatments that range from multimodality massages and facials with organic Babor products to mother-of-pearl body scrubs and mani-pedis with vegan SpaRitual polish. They also create spa packages that allow romantic couples, pairs of best friends, or celebrities and their egos to enjoy chocolates and champagne while relaxing together.
