The staff is incredible. You feel relaxed as soon as you walk in the door. They were very attentive. I especially liked the fact that Liz sat down with me for a consult. She asked me questions about my hair and how I feel about it.

Bring us your tired 'do, your limp strands, your frizzy split ends yearning to be trimmed. Today’s Groupon will make your bouffant grin from ear to ear: $50 gets you $100 worth of services at Evolution Salon, featuring stylist extraordinaire Christopher Box. If you need a touch of color for your pompadour, a few inches off your bowl cut, or—after witnessing a heinous crime—a whole new look entirely, this deal puts you in the hydraulic spinny chair that fulfills your every hair fantasy. Use today's deal to book an appointment with Chris or anyone in the sidebar to the right.

Chris works his magic out of Evolution Salon on Lemmon Avenue, and is hailed by happy clients as a master of both color and styling. Apply your Groupon to a number of services: a women's long cut ($65) plus L'Oreal deep conditioning ($15) and scalp balancing ($15); men's short cut ($45) plus color gloss ($25); or even a bang trim ($20) plus all-over color short ($75). Check out the full menu for more inspiration, and mix and match to create a haircut yet unbeheld by the eyes of man.

You're not limited to relying on Christopher to heal your hair woes; you can book an appointment with one of five other Evolution expert aestheticians or its massage therapist (listed in the sidebar). Release tension with your choice of massage, or restore your inner alignment with chakra balancing. Request a classically sophisticated coif, an asymmetrical do-from-the-future, or surrender your head to their artistry and expertise. Click here for Evolution's services and pricing. Grab this Groupon (or grab two) and head over to Evolution for a stunning new mop atop your noggin.

Yelpers are raving about their new looks from Christopher Box, giving both Christopher and Evolution five stars. Here's what they're saying:

  • He's an expert in extensions and has a full understanding of color...I almost wrecked my car a few times on the way home because I couldn't stop looking at myself in the mirror. I had never had thick hair before and I felt amazing! – alison m.
  • I love my haircut and the layers are perfect! Not that he needed this review but he is simply the best. And he's super cool. – Ally J.
  • I love my color and cut. I feel like a new person. I got up this morning and it took no time to style it. – Tracy B.

The Evolution Revolution

In a linguistic coincidence of staggering proportions, Evolution Salon is not in fact named in honor of Ivan Reitman’s 2001 Sci-Fi smash Evolution, featuring X-Files star David Duchovny and X-Files: I Want To Believe voice-actor Angelo Vacco as Officer Thompson.

The film follows the exploits of Professor Ira Kane (Duchovny), who is called to investigate the crash site of a mysterious meteorite. Unbeknownst to Kane, rival professor, Harry Phineas Block (portrayed by Orlando Jones), is investigating an inexplicable ocean fissure, which has released something mysterious and primal. Further rival professor Julius Moore (Julianne Moore) is contacted by the U.S. Government (Dan Aykroyd) to investigate an inexplicable weather phenomenon with far-reaching effects on Earth. Meanwhile, aliens invade, or something.
