What You'll Get
Before pasta's domestication, packs of wild linguine evaded hunters by camouflaging themselves as shoelaces or hiding inside drinking straws. Enjoy tamer pasta with today's Groupon: for $25, you get $50 worth of Italian fare at Figaro's.
The mingled scents of baking crusts, sizzling seafood, and bubbling sauces waft from Figaro's kitchen as chefs prepare an overflowing menu of gourmet Italian fare. In the mussels Figaro, tender Atlantic blue mussels pilot yachts of slippery linguine over a sea of marsala-wine herb-butter sauce, pausing to load up roma tomato, onion, and caper cargo and host plate-top shuffleboard tournaments ($16.75). Veal medallions showered in lemon caper butter frolic in fields of artichokes among the veal picatta with vegetable risotto ($21.50). Alternatively, chefs can pan fry almond-crusted redfish in a Meunier sauce ($22.50) with sides of smoked gouda potatoes and grilled asparagus, building a fish-and-veggie metropolis at the mercy of hungry diners and 6-inch-tall Godzillas.
Diners lounging within Figaro's softly lit interior can gaze out a large picture window that overlooks the tree-lined street, or play stare-eyes with colorful artwork adorning the warm yellow walls. Alternately, an outdoor patio lets patrons pass the minutes between courses by whispering celebrity gossip to passing breezes.

About Figaro's Restaurant
Dim lights cast a warm glow across burnt-orange walls and white-linen covered tables inside Figaro's dining room, which serves as a welcoming environment for both families and romantic dinners. The room's large windows can be opened to the tree-lined street, sending in a light breeze, great views of uptown New Orleans, and premature feelings of nostalgia as guests dine on pasta and seafood dishes. Along with seafood risotto and pasta primavera, Figaro's chefs also concoct gourmet, Neapolitan-style pizzas such as the shrimp and cilantro pizza with roasted garlic cream sauce. An outdoor patio gives guests the option of dining under the open sky without painting the ceiling the color “solar eclipse.”
