About Firetap Alehouse Restaurant
The fire bakes gourmet pizzas in the massive stone oven; the tap brims with 36 local Alaskan beers. In other words, Firetap Alehouse Restaurant wears fine dining and good drinks proudly on its sleeve. Besides specialty artisan pizzas such as the cuban pulled pork and the tangy pesto chicken, the restaurant is known for its fire-baked chicken wings and beer pretzels served with cheese sauce and stone-ground mustard. But for the 21+ crowd, the real draw is the astonishing draft selection—and the jewel in that crown is Firetap's own Red Tap Mama, a malty red with depths of chocolate and caramel made by Glacier Brewhouse. The restaurant also operates a digital-pour feature that sends beer updates and specials to customers, but doesn't draft beer out of phones' speakers.
