Head Chef and co-owner Darshan Singh draws on more than two decades during twice-weekly classes. After an introduction to the food and culture of India, students learn to cook chicken in green curry with coconut milk, ginger, coriander, and the house curry blend; chana masala, a North Indian–style chickpea dish; and a healthy cucumber salad with cilantro. Flavor of India provides naan and a nonalcoholic drink for each student to enjoy with the full meal they have prepared by the end of the session. Students also receive copies of each recipe to take home. Classes take place on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the location in West Hollywood.
