What You'll Get
Musicians often cultivate a dynamic stage persona by filling their shows with multiple costume changes, elaborate choreography, and family-vacation slideshows. Feast your eyes and ears on a thrilling performance with this deal to the Blueberry Blues & Rock Festival at Bella Organic Farm on Saturday, July 28, and Sunday, July 29. For $10, you get two one-day passes (a $20 value). The festival starts at 10 a.m. both days.
To raise awareness about sustainable, organic farming and celebrate the harvest of farm-raised blueberry plants, Bella Organic began the Blueberry Blues & Rock Festival, a two-day summertime fete held on its 100-acre plot of rural farmland. A full lineup of bands plays throughout the festival, including female-fronted cover outfit The Blue Valentines, outlaw country revivalists the Sammy Steele Band, and Lloyd Jones, who accents contemporary blues with his signature soulful growl. As live music wafts across open pastures, guests can dine on food-cart cuisine, including farm-fresh blueberry desserts, paired with local microbrews and organic wines culled from Oregon-based vineyards. Sun-soaked youngsters can take refuge in a bounce house or a petting zoo stocked with barnyard animals and friendly carpet samples.
