About Diamond Head Parasail

For at least a few minutes, Diamond Head Parasail allows passengers to experience the thrill of flight as they float above the waters of the South Shore while being towed by a lemon-yellow speedboat. Founders Greg, Mike, and Mamie Longnecker decided to share their lifelong passions for adrenaline-pumping thrills by offering the opportunity for visitors gain a bird's eye view of the the crystalline waters and the surrounding islands. As the boat picks up speed, a deckhand begins releasing line and the canopy lifts individuals or pairs into the air. For beginners, 500 feet of line is enough to provide a memorable introduction to parasailing, although the crew also offers extreme rides that let out 1,000 feet of line, which provides enough altitude for passengers to snag a particularly soft cloud as a souvenir.
