The Scouting Report
On Saturday, August 30, the Longhorns kick off the 2014 season with a non-conference skirmish against North Texas. All eyes will be on junior quarterback David Ash, who was sidelined midway through the 2013 season on account of a foot injury that prevented him from executing the team’s signature tap dance routines. In addition to the return of familiar faces on the field, this game marks the debut of new head coach Charlie Strong, fresh from a stint coaching at Louisville.
