BxC Acting Workshop Experience
Part 1 (Tuesday, February 23, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.): The first Saturday delves into acting techniques, including method, Meisner, and improv, all of which help actors enhance their connections to various works and deliver more confident auditions. Students also learn about the auditioning process and will hear from a special guest speaker, who will share tips and insider stories on acting in the movie industry.
Part 2 (Saturday, March 5, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.): Students try out their new skills in scenes written specifically for the workshop, developing characters and learning technical specifics including blocking, hitting marks, and eye location. A special guest speaker will be on hand to answer more questions.
