There are few things more evocative of a New England summer than a clam bake. Celebrity chef Michael Proietti dishes out this tradition in a picturesque corner just east of the Bronx during a two-hour seafood brunch. While relaxing in his backyard and soaking up the sun, guests welcome in the season by digging into a steamed feast.

Chef, Chopped All Stars Finalist
Growing up in New York City, chef Michael Proietti took full advantage of the ethnic mosaic surrounding him. Wandering from meal to meal he developed a palate equally informed by Chinese and Indian cuisine as by his family's Italian recipes. This soon earned him not only a finalist's spot on Food Network's Chopped All Stars and The Next Food Network Star, but enough skill to generate a forthcoming cookbook.
