Nevada Wild Fest
Each fall, the Nevada Wild Fest gathers food vendors, musicians, and celebrities together under a colorful whir of carnival rides and lights. This year the festival sprawls across the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino grounds, where guests will wander beneath a ferris wheel as they enjoy the rising smoke of kebabs cooking on a charcoal grill and the glittering jewelry on display in the vendor village. Beer and wine gardens surround the crowd with dozens of craft brewers and vintners, giving them the chance to sip on fermented treats and practice their spit takes for upcoming family gatherings.
Depending on the day, other activities include a Zumbathon and dock dogs—a canine aquatics competition and Iron Dog Best of the Best Championship being filmed for CBS sports. Visitors will also be able to meet and greet visiting celebrities and watch live musical performances, both of which will be announced shortly on the website.<p>
