Xtreme Couture GI Foundation 8th Annual Motorcycle Poker Run
The Event: Now in its eighth year, this annual motorcycle run raises money for injured veterans and inspires riders from across the west to get behind the cause.
The Reason It’s a Motorcycle Run: Because the route is 100 miles long with just five stops, and most people can’t do that on foot. Also because motorcycles are cool.
The Poker: At each stop, riders receive a playing card, and at the end of the day, those with the best and worst poker hands win prizes.
The Randy Couture: The event’s organizer, Couture is a former UFC fighter. He was a three-time heavyweight champion, and is one of just a handful in the UFC Hall of Fame.
