Chef Melissa Furano employs local, sustainable ingredients to craft three-course menus, which she delivers to customers’ homes for gourmet dine-in evenings. While the menu varies by season, past first courses have debuted roasted corn soup with crab salad and cilantro vinaigrette, or featured pears stuffed with mascarpone that try to slip stealthily into the night in prosciutto capes. During the second course, pan-seared salmon basks in a thyme mustard glaze, and pomegranate-glazed lamb with pistachio mint pesto, like every chef’s guardian angel, rests on a cloud creamy rosemary polenta. Each meal concludes with a dessert, during which diners delve into raspberry crème fraiche mousse or place bets on which of a trio of strawberry-, chocolate-, and almond-cream-filled profiteroles are most likely to win the race into waiting bellies.

Chef Furano plies her culinary trade with experience gleaned as a California Culinary School graduate, and from her cooking travels through Europe, Central, and North America. Many of her menu options are gluten free, and upon request, chef Furano can modify her dishes to suit vegetarian and vegan diets, as well as assuage those afraid of talking dinner rolls.
