What You'll Get
Our fingers and toes help us accomplish vital daily tasks, such as flossing, wearing flip-flops, and massaging peanuts until they let out their butters. Give your peanut tenderizers a buff with today's Groupon: for $20, you get a mani-pedi (a $45 value) at Head 2 Head LLC on Marshall Avenue.
Head 2 Head LLC owner and licensed nail technician Robin Head, along with licensed nail technician Kay Abell, whisks hands and feet to private rooms for thorough, uplifting pamper procedures. In the manicure, which lasts up to 30 minutes, the specialist will cleanse, file, buff, and shape nails into forms as universally pleasing as the last jigsaw-puzzle piece. The sculpting goes further with a careful nail trim, and cuticles are pushed back and conditioned. A moisturizing lotion and massage soothes hard-working hand muscles before nails try on a base coat, two coats of color, and a top coat from a choice from nail-polish lines such as OPI and Creative Nail (a $15 value).
The 30–45-minute pedicure awakens tired shoe fillers with a therapeutic soak in a warm footbath, before talons are trimmed and filed to reduce claw marks when folding sweaters. The nail technician will then condition cuticles, exfoliate and soften calluses, apply a rejuvenating rehydration, and perform a foot massage to reward paws tired from massaging new hacky sacks. Finally, the toenail is blanketed in a base coat, two color coats, and a top coat for a gleaming finish (a $30 value). Clients are free to upgrade their procedure by paying the difference; the shellac nail polish costs an additional $10.
