Seattle Yoga Lounge
Getting a bit sweaty while exercising is expected, but at Seattle Yoga Lounge, it's pretty much required. That's because its hot-yoga classes are all performed in a studio heated between 95 degrees and 110 degrees. Those high temps help relax muscles, increase circulation, and decrease stress. They're also why wearing sweatpants to class isn't suggested; most students don shorts and a t-shirt.
Classes include hatha yoga and power vinyasa, as well as yin yoga, which focuses on breathing techniques. And there are also wildcard classes, in which teachers come up with challenging moves that are best for more advanced students. But no matter the class, instructors here don't stick to the same routine over and over again, ensuring that each class is a new experience and offers new challenges.
