What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
"In The House & Through The Garden" is an official Annie Sloan stockist featuring the best paint in the world...Chalk Paint®! We host weekly workshops in our studio so that customers can learn how to paint furniture, kitchen cabinets, walls, outdoor furniture and so much more.
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
Participants in our workshops do not need to bring anything with them. We supply all of Chalk Paint (32 colors in all), wax, brushes, stencils, workbooks, and even aprons to wear. Each workshop also includes complementary wine, beer, champagne, soft drinks and appetizers.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
It is always amazing how an old piece of furniture can be transformed with just some Chalk Paint®. Our shop is all about up-cycling, recycling, reusing, and inspiring the creativity in all of us.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing the excitement in a customer's eyes after they have completed their first Chalk Paint® project is so inspiring. All of our customers that take our workshops feel like part of our family.
