Groupon Salutes Black History Month
A Conversation with Kimm, Owner and Licensed Massage Therapist at Infinite Touch of Chicago
Why is Black History Month important to you?
Black History Month is important to me because, although history is taught and celebrated all year long, it specifically celebrates African American history. Sort of a reminder of how far African Americans have come, which allows us the opportunity to continue to grow.
What inspired you to open Infinite Touch of Chicago?
My mother, who was also a business owner, inspired me to get into massage therapy. She also influenced my decision to become a business owner.
What makes you and your team experts in massage?
We are all graduates of the Cortiva Institute [and] nationally certified, licensed massage therapists.
What's the vibe like inside Infinite Touch of Chicago?
Our decor is open, yet intimate and peaceful.
Where do you hope to see your business and community in the next five years?
In the next five years, I hope to see a lot of growth in my business and community. Maybe even a second location.

About Infinite Touch of Chicago
Though Kimm Jones-Danzie was inspired to follow in her mother's footsteps by opening a small business, she chose her own career path, becoming a Cortiva-certified massage therapist. At her spa, Infinite Touch of Chicago, she provides both chair and table massages, including an eponymous treatment that incorporates deep-tissue, trigger-point, and Swedish techniques. There's also prenatal massages for expectant mothers and men who insist upon swallowing their jack o' lanterns whole.
