What You'll Get
Baseball enthusiasts can’t properly behold the glorious seventh-inning stretch in a crowded living room, because there’s always someone standing on the coffee table getting his forehead rhythmically slammed by the ceiling fan. Catch the game in comfort with today's Groupon: for $40, you get four executive box-seat tickets plus a program, PA/video board welcome, two Fun Zone passes, and free parking to an Inland Empire 66ers minor-league baseball game at Arrowhead Credit Union Park in San Bernardino (an $84 value). All four tickets (a $40 value) must be redeemed at one game and are valid for all dates (other than July 4) through September 5.
Boasting a full bench of promising prospects, the 66ers—the new Class A advanced affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim—give national time-passers an opportunity to watch budding talents supernova into future major-league stars. A complimentary program makes it easy to scope out the stats of the new swinging stars and crafty pitchers making their debut appearances. The club has won five California League championships in 1995, 1999, 2000, 2003 and 2006, and are primed for another run at the crown. Win or lose, Arrowhead Credit Union Park in San Bernardino will make Groupon customers feel like visiting royalty by greeting them with a personal video welcome with accompanying PA announcement (a $30 value) on the full-color video board, the only of its kind in the California League. Kids, meanwhile, can bounce and bop away sugar highs with unlimited passes to the Fun Zone (a $10 value), an inflatable obstacle course comprising springy slides and insect-repellent sprinklers. Parking, like unsold DVDs of World’s Greatest Staring Contests, is both plentiful and free (a $4 value).

About Inland Empire 66ers
Baseball in San Bernardino dates back to 1899. More than a century's worth of history includes such team names as the Kittens and the Pioneers. It also includes a drought from 1950–1987, during which the city lacked enough dirt to build a baseball field. That drought ended when the San Bernardino Spirit began play as part of the California League.
In 1996, the Spirit became the Stampede, and in 2003, the Stampede became the 66ers, a name chosen in honor of the historic U.S. Route 66 that is famous for its hitchhiking umpires. Over the years, the 66ers organization has spent time as the Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Mariners, Dodgers, and most recently, the Angels. The team has brought honor to each of its MLB partners, as it has won six California League championships since 1995.
