What You'll Get
Like practicing the piano while leg-pressing another piano, martial arts help develop strength and discipline simultaneously. Bolster body and mind with this voucher.
Choose Between Two Options
- $29 for 10 adult or youth classes (a $120 value)
- $49 for one month of unlimited adult or youth classes (up to a $109 value)
For the one-month option, clients can choose from three programs: jujitsu, kickboxing and cardio fitness, or youth jujitsu and kickboxing.
Instructors cinch up black and brown belts around their traditional gi uniforms before taking on classes for youth and adult students. They teach a Brazilian jujitsu curriculum developed by the Gracies, a family of competition fighters who helped popularize the martial art. Though jujitsu covers takedowns, grappling, and joint locks, it doesn’t include any striking techniques, so they round out the class schedule with kickboxing and cardio-fitness classes.

About Knoxville Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Knoxville Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu may be geographically located in Tennessee, but its curriculum belongs to Brazil. The instructors use the Gracie jujitsu training method, pioneered and honed by Brazil's first family of jujitsu, the Gracies. Focusing on takedowns, joint locks, and ground grappling techniques, teachers guide gi-clad students in one-hour wrestling matches across the gym's 6,000-square-foot expanse of gray mats. To supplement this curriculum, they conduct kickboxing classes and cardio-fitness training sessions. Teachers cater to a diverse student base, reserving certain class times for children, women, and bridge trolls.
