About A Chat with Liberty Call Distilling
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? We are truly a small, handcrafted distillery that takes pride in making high quality spirits. When you come to our tasting room you can talk one-on-one with the makers of the spirits, and learn what it is like to take fresh, raw ingredients and turn them into rum, gin, and whiskey.
What is one of your most popular offerings? How is it prepared? Our Four Grain Whiskey is our most popular spirit. We use a non-traditional grain bill that is uniquely San Diegan, all the way down to using a beer yeast rather than a whiskey yeast. The 4 Grain Whiskey is available at Cask Strength only at the distillery.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business? We have a passion for spirits as consumers. We wanted to bring spirits that were made to be uniquely San Diegan. Our products stand alone against the tide of incoming craft spirits. We try to make products that are bold, delicious, and unlike anything on the market.
What do you love most about your job? Making new spirits. Experimenting with techniques that no other distilleries will try. Crafting something that is off-the-wall and out of the box, but yet intoxicatingly delicious.
