What You'll Get
Ice cream's sweet explosion pleasantly tickles taste buds, whereas fire cream's detonation simply rids faces of fun tickling tools such as eyebrows and handlebar mustaches. Treat yourself to a tasty bang with today’s Groupon: for $5, you get $10 worth of ice cream, specialty sundaes, ice-cream cakes, and more at one of Marble Slab Creamery's seven participating locations (listed at right).
Crafting notably delectable frozen treats in small batches, Marble Slab Creamery uses high-quality ingredients and makes all of its treats and waffle cones on-site to percolate palates with super-premium ice cream. Just like tax forms, chef-inspired concoctions are prepared on frozen marble slabs to ensure optimal freshness and easy customization. Customize ice cream creations by choosing one of Marble Slab's original ice-cream flavors, which include cheesecake, birthday cake, banana, butter pecan, and double dark chocolate (flavors vary by location). Then, one of the expert mixers will gently incorporate your choice of candy, nuts, fruit, or enthusiasm into the ice cream before placing the freshly kneaded delight into a cup or freshly baked waffle cone.
Preconceived treats are also available, such as the birthday bonanza, which features birthday cake, gummy bears, and assorted sprinkles, as well as low-fat yogurts, shakes, fruit smoothies, and floats. Marble Slab's cakes come in guises such as cookie-dough drizzle—an Oreo- and chocolate-covered cake with chunks of real cookie dough—and turtle cake, with a cold-proof structure of praline ice cream decorated in Pollock-like splatterings of pecans, fudge, and caramel.
Three Yelpers give Marble Slab Creamery a 3.5-star average:
- It's ice cream, and it's delicious! Rocky road (with those oh-so-divine tiny chocolate chips), cookie dough drizzle, and cheesecake and cherries should probably carry a controlled-substance rating. – Anne D., Yelp
