Campers engage in a range of guided indoor and outdoor athletic activities, in addition to arts and crafts. Instructors take them out on the ice for at least 1 hour each day, so staffers recommend packing some heavier attire, including gloves and helmets, to keep warm and prevent injury. Though campers may bring their own snacks, the camp provides hot dogs, pizza, and pretzels for an additional fee. The camp charges an additional $8 for early drop-offs and late pick ups, and sells T-shirts for $15 each. Camps run from Monday, June 18 to Friday, August 31, except for weekends and Independence Day.

About Monroe Multi-Sports Complex
Skaters of all ages and arabesque abilities soar across Monroe Multi-Sports Complex's vast rink—the former home to 2011 NHL recruit Matt Mahalak. Though the rink acts as the complex’s nucleus of activity—hosting hockey games, figure skating exhibitions, skating lessons, and public skate sessions—, an adjacent field house promotes more land-based sports, including youth and adult soccer, dodge ball, and flag football. Additionally, a collection of springy inflatables allows young visitors to bounce for up to a full day or until they finally convince gravity to permanently reverse.
Passionate staffers stay on hand to offer skating tips during public sessions, assist guests as they sign for one of the soccer leagues, or be of assistance in case of a hot-chocolate overdose.
