Montpelier Farms

When Mike Dunn opened Montpelier Farms to the public in 2008, he offered a modest corn maze, a home grown pumpkin patch, and hayrides. The year-round working farm has grown by leaps and bounds since then, and these days, it welcomes visitors to partake of 30 autumnal attractions, including a mighty seven-acre corn maze that requires a bit of cunning to navigate. Families can also visit giant pumpkin fields, meet farm animals, mine for gems, and even race rubber ducks. Of course, picking a pumpkin straight out of the pumpkin patch is still one of the most popular activities, and the farm even has an adorable "pumpkin daycare" area where guests can leave their chosen gourd for safe keeping as they enjoy the rest of their day.

Customer Reviews

Lots of activities!

Overall, it was a great experience. But there were a lot of extra charges for the various activities.

We go here almost every year and enjoy the maze and other activities. The big maze is good for 10 and over, it's a little long for little ones and our 6 year old gets a little scared part way through. They have a smaller maze and other activities which are great for younger children. I'd love to try the pumpkin chucking but it costs more and we usually go to late in the evening.
