$20 for Two Drop-In Aerial-Flow Yoga Classes ($40 Value)

Classes are available on Monday 5:45–6:45 p.m., Tuesday 10:45–11:45 a.m. and 7:30–8:30 p.m., and Saturday 9–10 a.m.
How can you tell you're starting to get the hang of aerial yoga? One good indication would be if you're currently reading this while upside down. That's because there are actually two types of beginner classes at Aerial Expressions. The first is known as "Beginning Aerial Yoga (Non-Inversion)," and offers total novices a chance to get comfortable simply balancing on the fabric swings that are an integral part of the practice. Once students have the hang of hanging, it's time to move on to "Beginning Inversions," in which students start to learn more complex movements—including, of course, upside-down poses.
No matter what level you're at, though, the classes are sure to help you strengthen your core muscles, relieve muscular tension, and increase your flexibility. And just like saving to buy your retirement hat, the practice is something to start thinking about even at a young age. Witness the center's 45-minute preschool movement classes, which allow youngsters aged 3–5 to safely burn energy with an assortment of amusing exercises.
