What You'll Get
Gas-powered cars will soon be replaced by electric cars, which will be replaced by two-person motorcycles powered by nightmares. Catch some combustion-engine action while you can with today's Groupon for a NASCAR racing experience on Friday, June 24, Saturday, June 25, Friday, August 19, or Saturday August 20 at the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta. Choose between the following options:
- For $192, you get a solo NASCAR experience with all fees covered, which includes driving the car, a certificate, and one 6”x8" photo (a $389.99 value).
- For $77, you get a NASCAR ride-along with a professional racing instructor, plus one 6”x8" photo (a $154.99 value).
A NASCAR racing experience lets racers and passengers feel the rush of flying around the 1.5-mile Kentucky Speedway. During the three-hour solo racing experience, racers meet with the crew chief for comprehensive safety training and instruction before suiting up, warming up, and ground-flying for five clocked minutes around the track. Via two-way in-car radio communication, drivers will be able to stay in touch with their personal racing instructors, who give advice on the best time to pass other cars and how to convert kilometers per hour into jiggowatts. Participants will then be able to commemorate the experience with a souvenir racing license, a graduate certificate, and a 6"x8" photo.
During the ride-along, passengers can sit back and map directions to the concession stand while a professional racing instructor takes the wheel of a NASCAR racecar, reaching top speeds of up to 170 mph. Scream in harmony with the screaming engine during three adrenaline-filled laps around the Speedway, which will be immortalized in a 6"x8" picture of the adventure.
